The Presbytery de St-Nazaire is situated on the border of the Périgord and Lot-et-Garonne and is perfect for an unforgettable holiday in a quiet atmosphere. With its sleepy villages, meandering rivers, pastoral landscapes and local specialties, the Dordogne region epitomises the French way of life.
On the domain stand two beautifully renovated authentic French houses: "Au Paradis" and "La Dame Blanche". Completely surrounded by a beautiful garden and with a swimming pool, you will be able to enjoy your holiday to the fullest. Au Paradis (4 persons): The elegant Perigordian Presbytery, "Au Paradis" dates back from the 14th century and is one of the oldest houses in this region. It combines the traditional architectural styles of Perigordian stone and timber framing. Although the house has been renovated to a high standard, the original oak beams and natural stone have been retained and are unaltered since the house was built.
The house comprises:
A well equipped kitchen/dining area with a large table and chairs, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and enough crockery and cutlery for 6 people;
A comfortable lounge;
A first bedroom with one double bed;
A bathroom which has a combination bath and shower, wash basin and toilet;
A laundry area which is equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and sink;
A second bedroom with two single beds;
A second smaller bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet.
La Dame Blanche (6 persons + 1 baby) : "La Dame Blanche" our new Presbytery takes its name from the barn owl which often nested in the loft. La Dame Blanche dates from 1769, and is built in traditional Perigordian style. It has been carefully and tastefully renovated with almost all its original features being retained.
All accommodation is on the ground floor and contains:
A dining room with a large table and chairs, fireplace and cupboards dating from the Louis Philippe periods;
A charming sitting room;
A spacious kitchen with cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and sink, as well as a microwave, coffee percolator, toaster and enough crockery and cutlery for up to 8 people;
A first bedroom has a canopied bed, highchair and ensuite bathroom with a shower, bidet, wash basin and toilet;
A second master bedroom with a double four-poster bed and baby cot;
A third bedroom with double bed;
Between the second and third bedroom is an ensuite bathroom with a bath, bidet, wash basin and toilet.
Outside, there is a private garden of 2,500 m2 including an orchard and a 9x5M swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace. The garden is divided into three separate areas, one in front of "Au Paradis", one in front of "La Dame Blanche" and one around the swimming pool. An orchard is situated in an enclosed courtyard. There is also a barbecue, garden furniture and private parking .
