Domaine Les Romarins in Castellane is in the area of the Gorges du Verdon in the Haute Provence. This property is known as the area with the highest number of sunny days per year. You can enjoy a magnificent excursion to the French Grand Canyon: les Gorges du Verdon. Castellane is a wonderful touristic place, located 3km away from the Residence on the Route Napoleon. There is a market twice a week with local Provençal products. The Residence is a quiet place, situated on a mountain plateau 900m above sea level with an exceptional view of the mountains. This property is magnificent and nature-friendly, where you can enjoy a great deal of sports during your holidays. You can also take a drive along the picturesque roads that lead along the mountain tops to the French Riviera.

Les Romarins (21) is a very beautiful holiday house for 6 people with a sun deck, comprising a spacious dining area with a living room and satellite TV (foreign channels). The beautiful kitchen is very well fitted (microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven,…). Garage with a washing machine and a dryer. 4 bedrooms (1x2p, 1x2p, 1x2p, + bunk beds), a spacious shower room and a separate toilet. Beautiful terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue.
You may use the large swimming pool with a children’s pool (20x10m – open from 15/06 till 15/09) as well as the relaxation and play areas. Smaller swimming pool (9x10m) that is shared with 3 other houses. This swimming pool can be either outdoor or covered.
Leisure and sports: Cycling, mountain hiking, horse riding, kayaking, pedal boats, sailing, surfing, rafting, quads, parasailing, waterskiing, fishing in rapids. There is a big lake about 1km away, with the possibility during the high season to rent long chairs, pedal boats and canoes. The Residence has its own swimming pool. Various sports are available, such as football, basketball, volleyball, jeu de boules and table tennis. Children’s playground.
“Mother Nature” is still the boss here… It is a quiet place, people come here just to relax. For the more active types and sports lovers, there is everything you need in the immediate surroundings: on land, on water or even in the air. Paragliding: In St André, Europe’s hotspot.
