La Dandoune is a lovely 18th Century mas that has been entirely refurbished according to the original architecture making it a very beautiful and authentic property. The thick walls keep the house fresh even during the hottest months.
A small path leads immediately inside the property, with an outdoor kitchen to the right (barbecue, fridge and cooker). This is a wonderful place for summer evenings.
Inside the house there is a well-fitted kitchen (oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine in the laundry-room). The living room is very spacious and bright. Dining area with an adjoining double sitting room with a most pleasant fireplace. The sitting room leads to a side terrace. The ceiling runs into the roof, another part forms a lovely mezzanine (parquet flooring) with TV and DVD-player.
There are 3 bedrooms (1x2p., 1x2p., 1x4p.). One bedroom has an adjoining shower room with a toilet and a small terrace. Separate spacious bathroom with a bathtub. A child cot and a high chair are available upon request.
French windows lead out to the terraces and garden. Roman swimming pool (8x5m – open as of 15/05) is a few steps lower, and offers a delightful view of the surrounding environment. Shower and toilet near the swimming pool. Sufficient garden furniture has been foreseen. Petanque alley, sand pit and a ping-pong table. Sufficient parking places.
La Dandoune gives you a sense of freedom amidst the olive trees in a very quiet and peaceful environment. The very typical village of Ansouis is about 5 minutes away by car. There is a lovely market every Thursday.
