La Palmeraie is a very typical country house, situated near Arles, between Provence and Camargue. It is entirely walled and enjoys an oriental atmosphere thanks to the earthen colours of the walls, the many palm trees and old olive trees. There is a large and beautiful private swimming-pool (6.5mx13m) entirely made of mosaics, surrounded by big terraces and a pool-house with a covered terrace, a cooking corner, a shower and a toilet.
The house itself has been recently renovated and comprises on the ground floor a living-room with a large French window that gives onto the garden and an American kitchen (dishwasher, washing-machine, barbecue). There are 2 communicating bedrooms and a 3rd separate bedroom, a beautiful shower-room and a bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. Air-conditionning in the house. La Palmeraie is ideally located for many excursions around the area. It is a special place offering a great deal of privacy. It is also suited for the winter months.
