Le Mas de Berry can only be described in superlatives. A true jewel in the heart of Provence. The mas is located amidst the very typical vineyards and fruit trees. As soon as you pass the gate, you will immediately feel the oasis of tranquility and beauty that it offers.
The mas is in two parts. The one part comprises a spacious living room with an authentic and large fireplace. The adjoining kitchen is very well fitted (dishwasher, fridge, deep freezer, oven, washing machine, dryer). Next to the living room you will find a very spacious dining area (table for 12 or 14 people) with an adjoining and very spacious and lovely double living room. Here again you will find a very large and authentic fireplace and French windows. These French windows lead out to an inner yard or to beautiful covered terraces. Next to the double living room there is a second kitchen (dishwasher, cooker, fridge, deep freezer) with a spacious dining area. Next to this kitchen you will find a very large bedroom (1x2p) with a spacious bathroom and toilet. This bedroom leads out to the terrace with a view of the fountain and garden. This terrace offers a separate entrance to another bedroom (2x1p), a spacious bathroom and a private covered terrace. All the bedrooms have been tastefully fitted, the furniture (many fitted cupboards) and bed linen are a pleasure for the eye.
A staircase leads from the living room to the 1st floor, where you will find 2 beautiful bedrooms (1x2p, 2x1p). On this floor there are 2 bathrooms, 1 bathroom has a family bathtub, a shower and toilet, and 1 bathroom has a bathtub and toilet. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms (2x1p, 2x1p). On this floor there is 1 bathroom with a toilet and shower. Some bedrooms have a sink in the bedroom. Mosquito screens have been foreseen throughout the house. 2 child cots, a high chair and a baby bath.
The garden is fabulous. The large heated swimming pool (13x6m – heated) is surrounded by a huge terrace, partly open and partly covered. The covered part has a rattan outdoor living room and a dining room. The small adjoining kitchen comprises a fridge and a dishwasher. There is a large barbecue. Behind the mas there is a 2nd entrance (that can remain locked) with a covered parking for 4 to 5 cars. Pétanque alley.
During the lower season you can rent one part of the mas. This comprises a kitchen, 1 living area + dining area, 5 bedrooms (10 people) and 3 bathrooms. The price is 2880€/week.
Le Mas de Berry definitely has a lot to offer. Its location is ideal to discover the Luberon, but it also allows for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is a 4-hour trip on the TGV from Lille.
