An old farmhouse situated a few metres from the charming, old village of Palazzone, in the south of the province of Siena, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards which are the main economy of this area. La Casella, is completely built of local stone and is set in a park of secular trees, with an avenue of cypress trees leading up to it. Part of the farmhouse is still used for the main activity of the farm, which is the production of wine, and beautiful wine cellars can be found below the farmhouse.
The apartments, on the first and second floor, can be made into one apartment as there is a communicating door from the kitchen of the largest apartment from which an internal staircase leads up to the second floor.
The restoration has been carried out with great care, not only in the choice of materials but also to maintain the original features.
