Welcome to Maison Dou Vala, which means "House of the Valley" in Provençal. A lovely holiday house for 6 people nestled in the charming village of Arpaillargues-et-Aureillac, near Uzès in the South of France. The village is just a 10-minute walk away and offers all necessary amenities.

Interior: Very nice vintage style The house features three comfortable bedrooms, including a master suite with a private shower room. A second bathroom is shared by the other two bedrooms. The main living area consists od a cozy lounge, a large dining table, and an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen. Built with authentic stone and adorned with exposed wooden beams, the house exudes Provençal charm and a warm atmosphere. The cooling floor system helps maintain a pleasant indoor temperature, even on the hottest summer days.

Exterior: Nature and relaxation Stepping outside, you'll find a spacious 40 m² sun-drenched terrace, furnished with comfortable garden furniture—perfect for unwinding in the sun or enjoying the shade under the covered area. The 1,200 m² property offers a serene, natural setting, typical of the region. With the Mediterranean climate, outdoor living is a way of life here

While the house does not have a private pool, there is a hotel-restaurant just 200 meters away that offers daily sunbed rentals so you can enjoy their large swimming pool.

Surroundings: A perfect location to explore the region

Just 10 km away, you’ll find Uzès, France’s first duchy, renowned for its elegant architecture and lively markets. At 18 km, don’t miss the breathtaking Pont du Gard, a UNESCO-listed Roman aqueduct, which is especially magical when illuminated at night. Nature and adventure lovers will enjoy Collias, 15 km away, an ideal spot for canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. For a taste of Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is just a one-hour drive away. Meanwhile, Nîmes (25 km) and Avignon (42 km) are also well worth a visit, with their rich historical heritage, including the Roman arenas, the Palais des Papes, the Maison Carrée, and the famous Pont d’Avignon.
