Frigiliana is known as one of the most beautiful whitewashed villages in Andalusia and is situated on a mountainside. Tourists love coming here to wander around the car-free streets and enjoy the whitewashed houses. The village is very steep to walk because of its location, but it is definitely worth it. During your walk, you can enjoy beautiful views and have something to eat or drink at the many restaurants! Make nice walks around the Rio Higueron and the Rio Chillar and end the evening with a dive in your own swimming pool in your holiday home. Do you like villages like Frigiliana, then we recommend you to visit Casares as well. This village is also considered as one of the tourist's favourite stops and is a must-see!  

La Vinuela is both the name of the municipality and of a reservoir and is a very popular destination for a holiday home rental! The village takes you to beautiful mountain ranges and olive groves. The reservoir is one of the most popular destinations of the Malaga province and is perfect for a canoe trip. 

Gaucin is another of the white villages located in Andalucia and is very popular with the visiting tourist! One of the best annual events of this village is the Toro de Cuerda, a bull race that takes place every year on Easter Sunday and is therefore an activity not to be missed if you are renting a holiday home in the Costa del Sol at this time!  

Marbella has become one of the most popular coastal resorts on the Costa del Sol in recent years, for its beachfront location, its rich history and the beautiful views a holiday home here has to offer. If you like to delve into history, then be sure to visit the old town, where you will find the old city hall, among other things. In a holiday home with swimming pool you can take a refreshing dive at any time of the day, but do you prefer a trip to the sea? Enjoy the sun on one of the many beaches and have a cocktail at one of the many beach bars. If you are tired of sunbathing, take a stroll along the promenade or climb the La Concha mountain.

If you are looking for a nice day trip from your holiday home in the Costa del Sol, we suggest you visit Gibraltar. Gibraltar is a British overseas territory and is located south of Andalusia. Here they speak English and payments are made with the Gibraltar pound and the British pound. You can also pay here with the euro in many places, but it is slightly less advantageous. The Rock of Gibraltar is the must-see of this area and is the absolute number one tourist attraction. Visit the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, a nature park with exceptional views, but watch out for the Barbary apes that live on the rock, they are very cool to see, but are real thieves, be warned 😉

This town is not in the Costa del Sol, but is well worth a drive from your holiday home. It is divided in 2 halves by the Guadalevin river. Take some fantastic photos of the view from Ronda and visit the famous bridge 'Puente Nuevo'. This is the most visited attraction in Ronda and offers breathtaking views! When you walk a little further, you'll have a very good view of the bridge, the gorge and the river that runs beneath.
