Sun, sea and beaches. A perfect picture of what it is all about at the Costa Brava. This rugged, wild coast lies in the North Eastern part of Catalonia and runs from Portbou to Blanes.
A versatile landscape with steep cliffs, wild coasts but also wide beaches and marshes. The beautiful nature like Cap de Creus, Montgri and Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de L’Empordà, blows us away every single time.
Costa Brava is a haven of entertainment for wine lovers. The typical, fresh Rosat is on the daily menu and with a bit of luck you can get a free tasting offered by a local vintner in the main wine villages, Pont de Molins Espolla or Mollet de Peralada. But the vineyards are not alone in determining the landscape here. Apples, pears and peaches are cultivated, add the poppies and sunflowers and you get a landscape with very colourful and blooming hues.
Sports enthusiasts always find pleasure here. Costa Brava is a Mecca for sailors and golfers, but cycling and horseback riding are also possible here. Whatever you choose, you are guaranteed to be treated to beautiful panoramic views over the Pyrenees.
There are dozens of fishing villages that have become a tourist attraction, but have still preserved their charm and character. L’Escala, Pals, Estartit, Cadaqués and Calella de Palafrugell are more than worth seeing. You can also find some bustling cities here. Girona with the cozy rambla, museum hopping in Figueres, the historic Barcelona and the ceramics centre of La Bisbal are definitely worth a visit.
Costa Brava is one of the most beautiful coastlines of Spain with a wide range of holiday homes, apartments or residences with typical houses and a communal swimming pool.
