Orchidea, the villa if you want to spend your holidays in Chianti (Toscane, Certaldo), living in a prestigious villa in Tuscany. Splendid, ancient Tuscan villa dating back to the 17th century, owned by the Posarelli family, completely restored and set inside a large property of 90 hectares surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
Living in this prestigious holidayhome in Tuscany, you will find enchanting panoramic views over the surrounding landscape and over San Gimignano in the distance.
There is a large, fenced and furnished garden (5.500 m2), swimming pool (12,5 x 6,5 m – maximum depth 2,5 m – open from 01/05 till 30/09), pavilion with small bar, dressing-room, bathroom with shower and laundry with washing-machine.
The area surrounding the property offers and ideal terrain for nice walks. The villa is very well equipped and offers beautiful and cosy interiors furnished with prestigious antiques.

Surroundings
The village of Sciano with grocery shop and restaurant approx. 5.5 km, Barberino Val D'Elsa with all kinds of shops and tennis court 6 km, Certaldo approx. 6 km, the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano with characteristic towers approx. 30 km, Florence 38 km. Siena and Volterra are within 30 km. A short distance from the villa there is also the picturesque village of Petrognano, the last remnant of the town of Semifonte destroyed by the Florentines in 1202, the evidence of which is still visible in the whole area. Also worth a visit are the medieval villages of S. Appiano with a small museum and Linari.
