A visit to the Monti Sibillini, a beautiful national park in Umbria and Marche, is a must. There are some great hiking trails that you can explore on your own. Lago Trasimeno is the largest lake in Umbria. Thanks to its perfectly central location, it is easily accessible from your Umbrian holiday home with private pool. There are many beaches by the water where you can enjoy the sun and the water. In the area surrounding the lake you will find fun activities such as windsurfing, jet skiing and sailing. 

A must-see village on Lake Trasimeno is Castiglione del Lago, it is a fully fortified village, with beautiful views over the lake and a very pleasant village to spend time in with some good restaurants where you can eat well. 

There are also three small islands in the lake itself: Isola Maggiora is the only habitable island, a real fishing village. Isola Polvese is the largest of the three islands and contains some beautiful historical buildings.

Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is located in the centre of Italy and should not be forgotten. Known for its art and culture, Perugia hosts cool festivals and events every year, such as the Umbrian Jazz Festival. Another fun thing to visit is Perugia's chocolate factory. Do you like wine, conviviality and good food? Then a wine tasting is also an activity not to be missed. You can visit a vineyard with your friends and have a drink afterwards. B. Tilivini

This wine tasting company uses special techniques such as short pruning and spring thinning to ensure a quality wine. They offer several types, such as the wine and cheese tour. Here you can walk freely through the vineyards and olive groves. You can taste, among other things, 5 wines, some cheeses combined with honey and taste typical Umbrian sweets.
