Le Marche
Are you planning on renting a holiday home in Le Marche, Italy? We would love to introduce to you the best natural zone in the area. The national park Monti Sibillini is a part of the Apennine Mountains en just a formidable part of Italy. It is one of the smaller parks in Europe but it is definitely not inferior in terms of beauty, culture and diversity.
The wonderful valleys, dozens of mountain peaks and ancient villages offer everything an experienced hiker could wish for. Novice hikers will find their liking as well at Monte Sibilla because it is very accessible.
During peak season our Italian colleagues organize weekly fun mountain hikes to Monte Sibilla. Leave your peaceful holiday home with swimming pool in Le Marche behind for a day because we’re leaving at 8:30 am from Rifugio Sibilla. An experienced English speaking guide takes us into the mountains. During the walk you can ask every question you have about the fauna, flora and the history of the Monti Sibillini national park.
The mountainous landscape and vast fields make the walk extremely beautiful. While walking, you will see mystical panoramic sights over Gran Sasso, Monti della Laga and if you’re lucky the Majella as well.
Another highlight in the mountain range are the plateaus, most importantly the Piano Grande. In June the plateau is colored yellow and red because of the blossoming flowers. The landscape turns into a colourful sea of flowers.
Monte Vettore has the highest peak of the landscape and is a fun challenge for hikers. From the peak you can see the Terminillo and the coast of Le Marche.
Are you ready to experience the beautiful walk through National Park Monti Sibillini with your own feet and senses? Rent a holiday home in Le Marche and put on your hiking shoes!
