The Monts d'Ardèche is a nature park in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the Haute-Loire-Ardèche department. It is a geopark classified as a UNESCO heritage site, offering extraordinary biodiversity and nature, with literally thousands of different species of fauna and flora, some 50 extinct volcanoes, and a 35,000-hectare chestnut grove.

Not to mention 4,000km of hiking trails and 3,000km of rivers.

The geopark is a protected and privileged area in a natural and wild setting, yet developed for nature lovers. You can discover marmots and beavers and their habitat. Hikers and bikers will have a great time here, enjoying the steep paths and breathtaking views at every turn.

The Maison du Parc is in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche park, in the commune of Jaujac. It is a gathering space for the territory bringing together inhabitants and visitors, but also institutional and economic associations, to promote this geopark.

The water limitation line is a geological phenomenon that hundreds of artists have wished to celebrate, so here we are with 100km of an open-air art trail. In concrete terms, it is an imaginary line that divides the sources of water flowing towards the Mediterranean Sea and the sources of water flowing into the Atlantic. This beautiful artistic route can be explored by bike, by car or on a horse.
