- Le Lac de Peyrolles is barely 6km away. Here you can swim and practice water sports like jet ski!
- The beautiful city Aix-en-Provence, with its lovely fountains and gorgeous hotels. You can’t miss Le Cité de Cézanne with his painting studio. In July there’s the famous Festival International d’Art Lyrique.
- The Mont Sainte Victoire has inspired a lot of painters. The famous mountain is perfect for beautiful walks and it’s a great playground for sports enthusiasts.
- The typical villages in the Lubéron, like Lourmarin with its beautiful markets on Friday morning are great to visit. Other villages that we love to recommend are Bonnieux, Lacoste, Gordes and Roussillon with it’s beautiful red and ocher colors.
- There’s a lake not to far away: L’Etang de la Bonde is situated North of Pertuis.
- The famous cities, at the foot of Les Alpilles, like Saint-Remy-de-Provence and Les Baux de Provence with it’s world known quarries and rocks.
- Avignon, surrounded by it’s beautiful city-walls, shouldn’t be missed. The Palais des Papes and it’s well-known Festival de Théâtre.
- The old port of Marseille and its beautiful basilica Notre Dame de la Garde and the renewed neighborhoods of Panier and La Joliette.
- Les Gorges du Verdon is the biggest canyon of Europe, with unimaginable views and landscapes. Ideal for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. You can do a lot, like kayak, pédalos, rafting, canyoning and of course beautiful walks in marked hiking trails. A known big challenge is ‘Le Sentier Martel’. A hike of about 8 hours.
- Le Parc National des Calanques in Cassis: This can be done on foot or by boat. A great experience for all ages.
- The beaches on the West side of Marseille: La Côte Bleue is a rough coast with beautiful walking routes (Le Sentier Douanier autour de Carry).
- The best beaches on the East side of Marseille are Sanary and Bandol.
Both the house and the garden are very beautiful and very well maintained. Three bathrooms and three toilets are extremely useful. Showers function great. The TV lounge is new and pleasant. The fans in the bedrooms provide a nice cooling. In the beautiful garden there are comfortable loungers and the swimming pool is spacious and refreshing. Cleaning is easy with the robot. This house is an absolute must!
This was one of the best houses we ever rented (of course also in line with the rent, for this price you can expect this). We enjoyed our stay very much.
