Best attractions in Andalusia!

Andalusia is the southernmost point of Spain and known for delicious tapas, beautiful nature, whitewashed villages and rich culture. It is Caroline's favourite Spanish region and every time we visit it, we understand why.

Renting a holiday home in Andalucia makes for an extremely versatile holiday. Beautiful cities such as Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and many more, but also vast beaches, overwhelming nature and of course always a very nice, typical Spanish atmosphere.

A road trip through Andalusia is therefore a very nice method to discover this region, but perhaps renting a holiday home in Andalusia is an even better idea. That way you can relax in your own place every day, after a fun-filled day of discoveries.

We gladly share our favourite "must see's" and "to do's" in Andalusia. Be sure to read on for the best sights in Andalusia.

Gaucin

Our favourite 'white village' in Andalusia. The super cosy Spanish mountain village, enchants us every time again. Gaucin is a very typical Moorish village in the province of Malaga. It is the gateway to the Serrania de Ronda. Get lost in the picturesque streets and, thanks to the hilly nature, enjoy breathtaking views. Do you need to cool off and is your holiday home with private pool in Gaucin just a bit too far away? Take a dip in the River Genal, in the valley below the village!

Gibraltar

Gibraltar should be on your bucket list during a holiday in Andalusia. It is the southernmost point of southern Spain and a very important area in history. This unique piece of land forms the maritime border between Europe and Africa. And yes, you can literally see Africa if you are in Gibraltar. From here you can rent a boat and go whale watching in the waters of Gibraltar. Another legendary aspect of Gibraltar, is the colony of Berber monkeys that live freely on the Rock of Gibraltar. It is suggested that the Moors brought the monkeys from North Africa and had them as pets. Very fun and entertaining, but keep your valuables close enough, as the monkeys are sometimes curious.

Sotogrande

A luxury community in the Spanish municipality of San Roque, sometimes referred to as the Beverly Hills of Europe. A fantastic location that was initially a golf club but has since grown into a glamorous resort that is synonymous with luxury and well-being. For a golfing holiday in Andalusia, this is also the right place. But sailing, horse riding, diving, squash or just relaxing at one of the many beach clubs are also daily fare here. Rent a holiday home in Sotogrande and enjoy the many possibilities and the exclusive atmosphere!

Different coasts of Andalusia

The extensive coastline attracts many travellers to Andalusia year after year. It is one of the most beautiful and diverse coastlines in Southern Europe. Rent a holiday home on the Costa del Sol, Costa de Almeria or Costa Calida and you will find the environment you are looking for. Does the private pool in your holiday home on the Costa del Sol need a change? There are plenty of small bays, wide beaches, rugged coastlines, and white coastal strips to offer you refreshment.

Rugged, multifaceted nature

The beautiful, rich nature of Andalusia is the reason why we lost our hearts here. The region is filled with natural parks, beautiful landscapes and protected nature reserves. Visit the Tabernas Desert in Almeria, go hiking in the Donana National Park on the Costa de la Luz or rent a holiday home on the Costa del Sol and visit the paradisiacal Sierre de la Nieves. Rent a holiday home with private pool in Spain and enjoy everything this beautiful region has to offer.

Golf holidays in Andalusia

Andalusia is THE region par excellence for a golf holiday in Spain. Rent a holiday home on the Costa de la Luz for your golf holiday in Benalup, and discover the best sights here too. Andalusia has more than 60 golf courses. Thanks to the large amount of sunshine and pleasant temperatures, playing golf in Andalusia is fantastic at any time of the year. Both the beginners and the more advanced players can fully enjoy themselves on the golf course.
